If you like my work, chances are you might be interested in the same sort of stuff. Most of these are art related, with a few other things thrown in. I’ve only just started this, but currently suffering from website fatigue and just need to get back in the studio.

I’m based in Hamble near Southampton in UK. If you’ve interested in buying anything, let me know and we can look at shipping costs.

Printmaking stuff.

Red Hot Press Where I do most of my printmaking. Great little studio with open access and courses.

Badger Press Where I learnt Solar Plate Printing. Another great local printmaking studio.

BIG  Baldwins Intaglio Ground. As we’re all working towards less toxicity we find better ways of doing things. Andrew Balwins BIG isn’t just great – he does some great instructional video’s on YouTube.

The Curious Printmaker Great blog – generously shares her knowledge and experience. I learnt for her where to get a large plastic container for soaking my paper, advice on making a registration sheet, and just loads of interesting stuff.

Lockdown has made some things impossible, but sometimes you just find ways around things. Life Drawing online has been something I wouldn’t have considered, but has been a lifeline during lockdown. Luke Brown’s #bodiesinmotion is my favourite – the subjects are all dancers so move with a grace and ease that help it manage to avoid some of the cliched poses of some.

My Besties

Short Haired Clare (it seems lots of my friends are called Clare, I think it’s the middle class equivalent of Sharron, so they have to have nicknames) makes the most amazing prints – check out her amazing letter press, screenprints, and lampshades at Burton & Bassett

Weavehouse is another Clare, but I don’t think she likes her nickname so I will just direct you to her amazing hand woven textiles.

Dave Gibbons Photography – delicious playful imagery, apart from the dead birds- which are beautiful but not so playful. Just awaiting his updated website.

Sarah Gibbons Ephemeral water flower and ink paintings.

If your name is Clare and you want to become my friend, your gonna have to be pretty exceptional and put up with a stupid nickname to make the grade. Just saying.

You know what the say, the family that raves together…The Bay was a project with family and friends for a few years that our friends at Blissfields helped us stage. Our friends, kids and their friends conceived, built, created visuals, span tunes and talked nonsense into the night.
